He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Angela Lira; children, Roberto Elizondo (Rosario), Linda Moreno (Rudy), Mary Alice Cantu, Santiago Elizondo, Daniel Lira, Ricky Lira, Jesse Lira, Alexander Lira (Sandra), Mike Lira, and Laura Lira; 29 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, & 10 great-great grandchildren; brother, Francisco Lira; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lira, Sr.; mother, Socorro Oliva Lira; son, Joe; brother, Raymond Lira, Jr.; sister, Tersa Martinez.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 21 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Frwy, Houston, TX 77039, 281-449-6511.
Funeral Service will be Friday, February 22 at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Brookside Cemetery.
