Jose Arnulfo Lopez grew up in Houston’s Second Ward and was married to Isabel Ball. Jose lived a life full of quiet enduring strength, playful humor and a deep unwavering love for those closest to him. To many, he may have seemed guarded, but beneath that tough outer shell was a tender, beautiful, compassionate, big-hearted soul—one that gave selflessly and loved fiercely. He found joy in the most simple meaningful moments in life. No soul was more deserving of all the love and joy life had to offer.

Jose was a proud father to nine children. Born from different chapters in his life; Natalie, Noe, Jose, Eric, Robert, Xavier, Nathan, Joseph and Isaiah and over fifteen plus grandchildren all loved and cherished.

He wasn’t just a father, a partner, or a friend-he was the heartbeat of many lives. A constant, a co-pilot, a reminder that love doesn’t have to be loud to be real. Now he is free.......

Rest peacefully, Jose. You are deeply loved, and you always will be.
