

Josefina Rangel Juárez Guzmán, age 85, entered into rest on April 15, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was born February 16, 1935 in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Celsa Juárez Lozano and Jóse Luz Rangel.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Secundino Guzmán and son, Juan Antonio Guzmán.
Her memory will be cherished by her children, Gilberto Guzmán, Maria Elena Hogue and husband, Roger D. Hogue, Rosa Maria Hunt and husband, Michael W. Hunt, Maria S. Enbey and husband Erik L. Enbey, Rogelio Guzmán, Ruben Guzmán and wife Angela D. Guzman; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous spiritual brothers and sisters whom she loved dearly.
Josefina was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 10, 1974 in Galveston, Texas. Her loyal love for Jehovah showed in her zeal for the ministry and in her speech about her God and the active love she showed towards the friends. Despite her failing health she remained active until her death.
Josefina was selfless, giving, and displayed a humble disposition. She could be found at her home enjoying some of her hobbies which included gardening, sewing, and Bible reading. She was known to open her home to family and friends and offer them a home cooked meal.
She will be dearly missed.
