Joseph Earl Firth Jr.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Joe was a graduate of Rice University, with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Graver Tank Manufacturing Company after 37 years of service. He has been a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for over 50 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Fulton Firth; daughter, Pamela Firth Richmond and husband George; son, Joseph Earl Firth III and wife Susan; grandson, Bret Joseph Firth and son Branden; granddaughter, Stephanie Richmond Roark, husband Ross and son Blake; grandson, Kyle Morris Firth; granddaughter, Kristie Richmond Main and husband Jordan; and sister, Betty Marie Jones.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 am, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7901 Westview Drive, Houston, Texas 77055. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
