Bro, the kids & I have so many awesome memories with you, I don’t even know where to begin. We will ALWAYS cherish them in our hearts. You where an AMAZING Son, Brother, Husband, Father, & Uncle. I miss your daily call & texts “What’s up Locita”, seeing you walk into the office daily, & your contagious laugh & smile. I know you’re up in heaven having a big celebration with brother and sister. We love & miss you tremendously!

This was Joseph during the Harvey floods near his house. Using his high truck and an air mattress he helped rescue several people trapped in their flooded neighborhoods out to safety. During the following days, together with his sister and some friends he continued to go back, day after day, to these flooded apartment complexes to help more people by bringing them food, taking them to urgent care, medical appointments and many other ways. During one of those days he got food for 300 people and gave it away from the back of his van. He just kept saying “we are so blessed and we gotta help as many as we can”. This is just one of many examples of the kind of person he was. Of his selfless generosity and his passion for helping others.
What an honor to have him as my friend

Joseph was the most fun person to hang out with. One time he was over at my house and he found a child’s microphone that neighbor’s kid had thrown over the fence into our backyard. He proceeded to start a karaoke party and we had a blast. Just like every other time I got to spend with him. Like everyone else I’m hurting real hard right now but I’m so glad he was my friend and best meche.

Joseph was a dear friend and someone I will miss forever. He loved his family and his friends more than anything. He would do anything for them as well anytime he could. I loved him like a brother and wish I had more time with him.

Rest in peace my friend.
