Joseph A. McCausland

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret (McCracken)McCausland of Washington, PA; an infant son, Stephen Dennis McCausland; and a brother, Edward Burt McCausland of Cherokee Village, AR.

Mr. McCausland served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to July 1961. He was buried with Military Honors on March 28, 2018 at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, TX.

After fifty-four years of marriage, he is survived by his wife Sue; a sister, Sharyn Barr (John) of Washington, PA; sisters-in-law, Diane McQuillin (Terry) of Natchitoches, LA, Kathie Duggan (Robert) of Pineville, LA, and Penny Heard (Kenneth) of Natchitoches, LA; brothers-in-law, Richard Shivers of Bossier City, LA, Lynn Shivers (Scott) of Houston, TX, Charles Shivers (Mary Margaret) of Natchitoches, LA, Joe Shivers (Kaye) Natchitoches, LA, and Lawney Paul Shivers (Cheryl) of Provencal, LA, and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank all of the dedicated nurses of Memorial Hermann Hospice who cared for him at home, as well as the many doctors and nurses at Memorial Hermann Memorial City who cared for him during his hospitalization.
