Joseph W. Mizula was born in 1927 in Florence, Massachussetts and passed away on July 16, 2012 in Houston, Texas. "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by". Joseph served as a Pilot in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He attended the University of Massachusetts and the University of Nebraska, receiving a Master’s degree in Geology. Joseph was the lifelong husband of Shirley Wade Mizula. He is survived by all of his children, Jon, Matt and Lisbeth and one granddaughter, Xanthe. A Memorial Service will be held in Northampton, Massachusetts.
