

Joseph L. Sperandio, loving husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and friend left this world on March 10, 2025. He was surrounded by his family as he went to join his wife, Mary Ann, and our heavenly Father.
Papa was passionate about his family. He and his wife of 60 years, who preceded him in death, loved to travel and over the years had visited countless countries.
Joe served in the US Navy during World War II, Korea, and the Vietnam conflicts and after 23 years of active service retired as a Commander in US Navy. He and Mary Ann moved 28 times during their life together. He was a longtime member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
Papa is survived by his children: Adriana Fadden, Carla and Paul Boscarino, Angela Sperandio and Richard Nunes, Jo Ann and Donn Kingsley, and Michael Sperandio. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Greg and Christopher Bryan; Colin, Garrett, Katie, and Angela Fadden; Kaci, Jenny, Brett, and Tucker Kingsley; Tony and Alex Sperandio; Isabelle Nunes; and great grandchildren: Liam and Quinn Bryan; Emerson and Darcy Cox; Klara, William and Mia Kingsley; Oliver Kingsley; Ellen McGinn and Alex Gray.
Papa will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Having lived in Houston for over 40 years, he and Mary Ann opened their home and hearts and extended their community to include people from all walks of life. Our loss is God’s gain.
A visitation with the family for Papa will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM with remembrances beginning at 7:00 PM followed by the holy rosary in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Drive, Houston, Texas 77024 with a reception following in the community center. The Rite of Committal will occur Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, Texas 77055.
