As saddened as I am by Jody's passing, I remember the many good times we shared. I met Jody when he moved to Austin in 2008 and had the privilege of working with him for over three years from mid 2011 to early 2015. Jody was a gentle soul, more gentle than perhaps he knew. He liked to hang out with the men he worked with and enjoyed having us tell stories about one another and himself. He enjoyed a good ribbing. He valued our friendship as much as the work itself. He valued being good at what he did and enjoyed it when the rest of us pitched in on a project with the full use of our talents, as well. Jody will be missed but never forgotten.
