Josephine De Leon

She was born and raised in Houston, TX. She loved traveling going to the casino. She also enjoyed crafting, cooking and baking. The Holidays will be never be the same without her delicious tamales- she was proudly known by her family as the best tamale maker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isabel T. Barriga & Johnny Antoon and son, Christopher Castillo.

Her memory will be cherished by her family, husband, Joe DeLeon, sons, Joseph Castillo, Jason Castillo, grandson, Joseph Castillo, Jr., Jonathan Castillo, granddaughter, Gizelle Castillo; Siblings, Sisters, Sandra Flores, and husband, Alfredo Flores, Annette Marroquin and husband, Sergio Marroquin; Brothers, Johnny Antoon, his wife Delores Antoon, Jesse Antoon his wife, Priscilla Antoon.

A visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, on January 15, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will also take place at the same location on January 15, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass is scheduled for January 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran St, Houston, TX 77009.

The Committal Service will follow on January 16, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
