I will always remember Josette's warm and instant smile. The Gospel Company was very large when she was an active participant and the names of members was hard to remember but, not for Josette. She made it her task to remember names of members and I was so impressed by her doing that. I'll miss seeing her at the UMW'S Prayer Breakfast, she was faithful attending and sitting at Georgia's table.

Josette is a part of my family. She is one of my mom’s best friends, but whenever she came over I would sit and talk to her like she was my friend and SHE LISTENED! Josette didn’t say much, but took time to teach me how to play Chinese Checkers, make decorative sweatshirts for me (in the late 80s), buy activity books to keep me busy in the summer and help wrangle my mama out off the choir stand after church. Thank you Josette for the kind words, a gentle smile and all the great memories.
