I grew up next door to the Allen's she was a great lady. My heart goes out to Brent,Jan,Kirk and Kim. I will remember her fondly.

Mrs. Allen always looked so sharp in the office at SBHS, like a million bucks, every day. And she was cheerful and kind. I remember one day I dissolved in hurt, angry tears over something another staff member had said to me. Mrs. Allen just smoothly scooped me up from the hallway, took me to a back office, got me tissues and a glass of water. Made sure I was okay. Never said a word about the verbal exchange or the other person, but made me feel that there were people on my side. That day, I would given her a kidney, but that surgery hadn't been invented yet. Classy, classy lady.

Mrs. Allen was a fantastic woman. She went to great lengths to help me reregister for school after I had dropped out the previous year. I'll never forget her kindness to me. Crystal and I send our condolences to my friend Kirk and his family in this sad time.

Mrs Allen was a great influence to me in my teen years. Km & I have been lifelong friends!! I will thank God every day that The Allen's introduced Garner State park to me when I was 16! It is heaven on Earth & I have carried on their tradition for 20+ years!! Mrs Allen was such a strong willled woman I will love her for that always!! Prayers for the family! & I love y'all Kim & boys!!
