

Joyce Ann (Miller) Wildman, born January 26, 1932, joined her husband John in heaven May 7, 2026. Joyce was predeceased by parents David and Wilma Miller, brother Jack, sisters Phyllis and Sandra and son, John Mark WIldman. She was raised in a family of love with grandparents, aunts, uncles and many cousins in Washington, Indiana and she continued that tradition of love, support and guidance in raising three children. She was a devoted lifelong Catholic and considered joining the convent until she met her high school sweetheart John and they celebrated 73 years and 8 months of marriage until his death in 2024. John and Joyce loved to entertain and never missed the opportunity to dance. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she would spend weeks baking gifts for friends and family. She was an avid competitive bowler until the age of 85. In 1991 they moved to Country Place in Pearland, Texas where she participated in many social activities and made lasting friendships. Her loving family will miss her terribly. She is survived by daughters Marsha Wildman Wilson and husband Glenn, Michelle Wildman; grandchildren Blaine Pless and wife Melissa, Elizabeth (Wilson) Hentschel and husband Cole; great grandchildren Ellie Pless and William, Miller and Maxwell Hentschel, sisters Sherry Hoss, Janet Fritschle, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Jackie, Maggie, and Mary for the compassionate care they gave her during the past few months and especially AnnMarie, her loving companion and caregiver for over two years.
A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 13 at 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima CAtholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston, Texas. Private burial will follow. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
