of our Savior, 
You went to be with others, 
So many calls before your own call home.
Now over these past days, as preparing, to join together, 
One last time, together, 
Until the next call comes,
Another of us will be missing after the next call rings out.
We await today, 
Knowing soon we will all be standing beside your body,
But your spirit and your soul, 
Will no longer be there.
Because somewhere along you doing it all your way,
You found Jesus, and your way back to Him.
We will once again strongly remember, 
On your last day of observation, 
We will cry and we will hurt, 
Our sorrow shall be great,
But our own greatest reward, will remain.
Forever beloved together,
Knowing ourselves, that it is not good-by,
But only see you later.
Our hearts will begin to mend,
And our own memories of you and we, individually and together,
We each shall;
Exchanges Smiles for Tears and Faith for Loss!
In our memories of all others before you, 
Now you along with them.
For sure, 
“LOVE NEVER DIES!”

You shared, we shared, we laughed and we cried, we worried, we tried to gather around you and to do things together.
The outings and many dinners together, the joy on your face told of a story only we each could and will have forevermore.
Because of the call, 
These past few weeks have both built and crushed us each, even you;
Up until your deciding it was time to begin your journey, alone and by yourself;
We now know and remember the day you decided, 
Because, as in all of this life, “truly you done it your own way.”
We know of your sorrow, your pain and your will-power,
As you begun to at first slow down your intake, 
Then came your greatest battle of all;
You would look at us each, with a smile,
Fighting so hard within yourself to no longer respond through words, but a very few.
Even you could be seen with tears flowing down, 
As hugs and touches reached out after you.
We tried so hard to get you to hold on, 
You knew in yourself, 
It was your time to depart.
In looking back now, I for one can acknowledge, 
What was left for you, was truly nothing;
Long life had given plenty, but it also robbed much;
In your own ending, 
All was returned that was robbed, 
Never again to be able to rob you again.
Of the true reason for life, 
Which is nothing of gain in this world and this life, 
But that true Love was regained,
That truly had never been able to be stolen.
Those last three days, oh, how difficult they were, 
We hugged and kissed, we sung and we prayed together,
The Spirit of the Lord was nearer than we knew, 
Yet, all along you knew,
Because by now, you were in both places.
Your nails were done, One Last time,
In the most loving way,
We each had to say, 
Our own good-by, 
In our own way, 
In your own way also to us each.
You cried, 
So did we, 
As your last day came, 
We were all there, 
We continued our songs, and the touching and gentle care,
Along with our prayers, 
To the Father to take hold of your hand,
And you to touch your heart and your soul,
Your hand to

As time exchanges Smiles for Tears and Faith for Loss!
Still at this time are the Tears and the Pain of Lose,
I know the day will come, when each will be able once again,
To return to Smile’ and Faith,
Over Tear’ and Pain of Lose,
Yet, today remains Tears and Sorrow of Lose.
Looking back over the years,
Us who remain here, remembering each good time and bad time,
Remembering filled time and lost times.
Over the years, and even today,
Knowing of your life, and how so dearly,
You, truly “done each day your own way”.
Some called you, mom, other’ GiGi, one called you wife, another simply friend,
Through the years, “You truly, done all things your way!”
At first happy, later times sad, many hurts and pains and many desires crushed.
It was just recently, that we all acknowledged, 
That your own struggles in this life, were long lived.
We remember the phone calls, first about your beloved son, then your husband, and now the call which brought about total change and an ability from God, to heal and mend in such tender loving care.
Each call, changed lives, not only of those the calls were about, 
But the entire beloved circle of beloved ones, 
And all who were around them each. 
The last call, was the hardest call, 
Because it seemed to last the longest.
They call it the “Long Good-by,” as moment by moment memories begun to fail you, right before us all.
Still, you fought and held on, 
You tried so hard to remember and to express yourself to those you love,
Oh, this last call received, brought about hurts and sorrows and sufferings and pains, 
Yet, over the months the last call has proven to have been the greatest mending and caring loving reconciliation of all who remain now and you who have left way to soon, 
After the call.
The call brought hugs and laughter, mending loving touches, remembering times of happiness and joy, outings and togetherness’ which were for us all.
We cared, we loved, we done all we could, not only for ourselves, but for you as well.

Joyce was a wonderful neighbor for 23 yrs.  She was a bonus family member to us all. Chantilly Lane was a family block. We all looked out for one another. We had a great group.  Joyce liked to listen to her music and she enjoyed changing out here furniture /decor often and she loved to visit the gambling establishments as well. She was a spunky lady-love that about her... She is a lot like my own mom. I can still hear her laugh. I have a story about one neighbor whew turned Joyce as red as her truck never forget that .... we had block gathers w/Joyce & Jim. She had a nice backyard - Kameron did some of a photo shoot in her back yard - sweet & warm lady - we will miss her. Sending our love to her family & loved ones.
