Juan Garcia, 92, of Houston, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2026. He was born in Houston on June 24, 1934. Juan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He shared 63 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Ermelinda P. Garcia, who preceded him in death. Juan proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1951 to 1954 and was a veteran of the Korean War. His service to his country was a source of great pride throughout his life. After his military service, he continued to honor and remember those who served, organizing marches in remembrance of those who lost their lives in war and those who were prisoners of war. Juan was a man who valued family, service, remembrance, and love of country. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and through the generations of his family.
He is survived by his three children, John Michael Garcia, Linda Ann Navarro, and Delma M. Garcia; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ermelinda P. Garcia, and his son, John Garcia Jr.
Juan will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory and legacy will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003, US, on September 30, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and again on October 1, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
A Rosary Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003, US, on September 30, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on October 1, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
