Juan Antonio Rangel was born April 26, 1946, in La Fama, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was called home by the Lord on February 26, 2019 at the age of 72. Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Rosa Rangel and siblings, Dolores Rangel, Daniel Rangel and Luz Cerecero. He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Anna Gonzalez Rangel and daughters Rosa Silva (Jesus Silva), Ana Rangel, and Laura Ramos (Angel Ramos); his seven grandchildren, Rebecka, Analissa, Alaina, Jonathan, Katya, Sofia and Lukas; his sisters Rosa Anguiano, Elena Morin, Ludivina Trevino and Melchora Garcia; as well as many nieces and nephews.He had a passion for music and loved working in the television and music industry. In his early years, he competed as a professional wrestler in the “Lucha Libre” as “El Soberano”; he was a radio announcer for KLVL 1480 AM; and was invited to debut in a scene of the movie, filmed in Houston, “El Puente”.His hobbies included being outdoors, going to the gym and spending time with his family. Some of his favorite activities to do with his children and grandchildren were; dancing, playing, going to the circus and bike riding. Juan will be remembered as a loving husband, Daddy and Popo and will be missed dearly.
