Prima, despite the pain of loss and tears that seem unending, I am hoping that in time, you will be able to reflect on the wonderful marriage you had and so many years of happiness. May those times bring sweetness to your thoughts and lift your heart. So sorry we are not able to be there in person, but we will be there in spirit. Take care and remember we are always a phone call away.

Love you,
Elizabeth Martinez

Anita, My heart is heavy today, and I know yours is too. It's hard to lose someone who meant so much to all of us, and even harder that we can't all be together to say good-bye. I know the days and months ahead will be a big adjustment, so please give yourself a lot of grace. Do whatever you need to take care of you (Juan would of wanted that) and know I'm here for you, too! I think about all the times you guys were in McAllen and how much fun we had sharing stories, just hanging out. Nobody could tell a funny story like Juan. A jokester he was!! I am going to miss him deeply. Thanks for sharing all these beautiful pictures/memories. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs!
With much love at this sad time, Terri (cousin)

I We went to Milby together. I had him for a class. We would talk. I met his cousin Thomas Perez at Ingrando Park. We started dating. We went to his uncles house. I was sitting on the couch. Juan walked in. I didn't know they were cousins. He asked me why I was there. I said" My boyfriend came to see his uncle. He asked who my boyfriend was told him Thomas Perez. Small world. He was a great friend after that. He will be missed. Prayers for his wife Ana who was also a classmate at Milby
