Mr. Helmcamp was a joyful and delightful man. We loved to see him come to our office because he always found the time to Thank you for all you do for him and Mrs. Helmcamp. Mrs, Helmcamp,  Juddy was such an amazing man.  He really was special.  I really have to say probably one of the sweetest, it not THE sweetest patients I have ever had.  I am going to miss his wonderful smile and just him.  I am so happy you all had so many wonderful years together.  I am sure he is with our Father golfing!!! Dear Norma,

Sissy emailed me today to tell me that Juddy had passed away.  I recently found Terri on Facebook and told me you'll were doing well.  Juddy was always such a joy to be around.  His smile could make you forget any problem you thought you had.  To grow up watching the rare friendship that you and Judd had with Mom and Dad was such a blessing to all of us.  He was truly inspiring and I'm glad I have so many wonderful memories.  Dad's been waiting on him a long time and I'm sure he's glad to have his friend again.  Love you, Patti Guarino

Mom just emailed me about Juddy and I am so very sorry for all of you.  I just want you to know how much our entire family loved Juddy.  He gave me one of my first job's at the Bakery when I was going to school at A&M.  (Although i don't think I was super happy that he had me inside of 120 degree oven using lead paint to touch up the ovens!)
He really meant a lot to Scotto and I, having had the opportunity to be around he and UB growing up.  To see the friendship that they had was something special.  To see how he stayed in touch with Memaw when UB's died meant the world to her, and to us as well.
I don't think they make them like Juddy anymore and feel lucky to have known someone so special.
He will definitely be missed, but never forgotten.

Norma- our thoughts and prayers are with you and with your children and their families. Like so many others, Juddy was a mentor and friend. We were so blessed to have spent so much time with him on his life journey. To have had the opportunity to work with and learn from Juddy and his partners-Jack May & Fred Anderson was a true blessing for bunch of us. These men walked the talk and provided living examples everyday for us. We thank God and join with you ,Ray,Terri and Cindi in your "Celebration of Life" for your partner in life, father, and our valued friend-Juddy. He was a true gentleman and will be missed but always loved and remembered.

I was 30 years Junior to Juddy Ray and have so many fond memories. The time he called me and cussed me and finished by telling me "and you are rotton to the core!" and then he hung up and I fell on the floor laughing so hard due to a practical joke that had all of his customers telling him whenever they saw him that "Mahoumad" had called and was looking for him. He was a great man and a mentor to many. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Juddy is gone from this place we call Earth yes, but we should not be sad nor surprised. God needed a Super Salesman  with a Giant Smile and a Super all around Nice Guy. Who else would he choose but Juddy Ray Helmcamp? We will all miss him especially his wife Norma & Family but remember Norma, when the Sun shines especially bright "It's Juddy"!

Mr. Helmcamp was my absolute favorite.  Ray and I were very best friends thru high school and I considered the Helmcamp's my second family.  Mr. Helmcamp was always so positive and such a joy to be around.  He definitely made a great impact on me during my teen years.  He was a wonderful father and I know he will be missed by all of his family and friends.

Juddy will be missed dearly.  He and Norma were a great asset to the Sealy Community.  I'm am very honored to have served with Juddy on the Blue Blazer/Sealy COC team.  He always had a smile on his face and if you didn't, give him just a minute and you would.  Juddy,  you will be missed dearly and may you rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear of Juddy's passing. It was a pleasure working with  him in the sales department from '77 until my retirement in '93.  He was always in a cheerful mood even though the day wasn't going the best for all of us.  He will be certainly missed.  My prayers are with the family.  Pat Cooper, Katy, Tx.

I enjoyed Juddy when I worked under him and later in the 70's when I was at the Houston plant.  Juddy was an inspiration to all with whom he came in contact.

I remember meeting Juddy when I first started with Mrs. Bairds... he had more people and sales knowledge that most of us ever gain... yet was keen to share it with everyone else. May God bless the family.

Juddy was such a kind, gentle soul.  It was a honor to work with him at Mrs. Baird's.  He will be greatly missed.  Heaven is even brighter now with Juddy.

Juddy was one of the first people I met when I moved to Houston in 1967 and became Mrs. Gene Morris.  Gene and Juddy worked together for many years at Mrs. Baird's, played golf together, and enjoyed a strong friendship.  Gene passed away in 1998, it is always to soon to lose the ones we love.  My best wishes to Norma and the family.  May you find comfort is knowing Juddy had a long, happy life.

Juddy was my mentor when I first came to Houston to work at the bakery. He was in many ways like a dad because he always was there to support me or correct me which was probably more likely needed. He was the true example of what Mrs. Baird's represented. Quality came first in every thing he did. He will be missed by all but his examples will live on.

I am sorry hear that Juddy passed Juddy was a happy person everytime I saw him walking the hall at Mrs Bairds he had a smile on his face I know he will be missed by all it was a blessing just knowing Juddy.

Juddy has a special place in my heart as a mentor.  I was teamed up with Juddy on several accounts like Rice and Foodarama to help manage the business.  On many occassions, Juddy took the time to help teach me life lessons on business relationships, keys to management and balancing work and personal life, which have stayed with me.  His friendly demeanor and "fatherly" care was appreciated.  I had much trust in his ideas and knew I could speak openly with him to gain insight and talk through issues.  Juddy will always hold a special place in my heart with much love.

I worked around Juddy for 32 years I was with Mrs. Bairds. He was a very good and friendly man and a better friend.I am sure he will be missed by all of us who knew him.

To the Helmcamp family:  I was so very sorry to read of the passing of Juddy.  I worked with him at Mrs Bairds from the late 1960's until he retired.  He truly was a gentleman.  Always kept a small smile on his face and never complained - just went about the business of doing his job.
