Our precious mother, grandmother and Great- Grandmother, Judith Mae Geiser, was called home to Heaven on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

Judy was born on June 22, 1940 to Harold and Evelyn Wetmore. She was born and raised in Harvey, Illinois and graduated from Thornton High School in 1958. It was at Thornton High Shool that she met Robert Geiser... the man she would fall in love with and Marry.

After graduating high school Judy went on to attend college at University of Michigan. She later transferred to University of Indiana where she obtained her bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics and received her certification in education.

In 1963 Judy married the love of her life, Robert (Bobby) Douglas Geiser. She and he built a life filled with love, laughter and adventure. They had three sons together and in 1969 moved to Houston, Texas. She always said she didn’t really mind Texas until she saw a giant wood roach and discovered that they could fly! She was ready to go back home after that but she stuck it out and came to love it.

On Nov 7, 1978 Roberts life was tragically cut short by an automobile accident. Her strength, independence and sheer will got her through the toughest of days and allowed her to raise her boys on her own. Judy was one of the first original real estate agents in Kingwood and she worked hard to make a name for herself. She loved what she did but she especially enjoyed combining that love with her teaching skills to train other real estate agents.

Judy had an immense love for her family. Her boys and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a phenomenal mother who always put her boys first. And as great of a mother as she was she was even better as a grandmother! She never missed an opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren. She cherished every moment she had with them. She attended school events, sporting events, dance recitals, cheer competitions, plays, parties and celebrations. She baked with them, took them out for ice cream and would sit tirelessly watching living room performances. When Judy wasn’t spending time with her family you could find her at the Coushatta Casino enjoying the sights and sounds of the slot machines...And she was oftentimes lucky!

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her children, Shawn Geiser and wife Melissa, Troy Geiser and wife Tonnie, and Lance Geiser and wife Janette. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephanie Bell and husband Adam, Charlee Geiser, Grant Geiser, Robbye Geiser, Hannah Geiser, Tory Geiser and Katherine Geiser; great-grandchildren Jay Bell and Colton Bell; sister, Jacqueline Louis Gula; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is loved and will be missed by so many!

I learned so much from Judy when I was a new agent at RE/MAX. She was so patient and down to earth, and I feel honored to have known her!

Judy, my husband and I will miss your smiling face at the 3 times a week treatments at Davita. Your positive outlook on life was such an inspiration. We will miss you dearly.
