

Judy Mei-Tsu Chang, 88, passed away in her home on August 12, 2024. She was born in Taichung, Taiwan on December 17, 1935. Judy graduated from the University of Education (臺灣省立臺北女子師範學校) with a degree in teaching. She dedicated her career to nurturing young minds as an elementary school teacher in Taichung (Nan-Tun Elementary 臺中市南屯區南屯國民小學), and in Taipei (Nanmen Elementary School 臺北市中正區南門國民小學) until her retirement. In 1974, Judy moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, with her late husband Paul Tien-Po Chang (張添鉢) and their four children. In 1981, the family relocated to Houston, Texas, where she resided for the remainder of her life.
Judy was cherished by her friends and family for her beauty, wisdom, grace, resilience, and strength. Her selfless sacrifices and unwavering support were a source of inspiration and encouragement to all who knew her. Her unconditional love will be fondly remembered by many. Judy was an excellent communicator and a peacemaker, bringing stories to life with her words and mending broken relationships.
Throughout her life, Judy was always active and continually sought ways to improve herself, setting an example for others. She was smart, organized, and meticulous, excelling in everything she did, from finance management and flower arranging to cooking, decorating, dancing, and singing. Judy was highly respected and loved by her peers, friends, relatives, and family members. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother, with family always being the cornerstone of her life.
Judy is survived by her sons: Stephen and his wife Joy Chang of Portland, Oregon; Charles and his wife Jessie Chang of San Jose, California; Raymond and his wife Jenny Chang of Austin, Texas; her daughter: Susan Chang of Sunnyvale, California; and her four grandchildren: Athena, Brandon, Asher, and Amber Chang.
Judy Mei-Tsu Chang’s life will be celebrated by family and friends, and her memory will live on always. She will be dearly missed.
A memorial service for Judy Mei-Tsu Chang will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Garden Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

張賴美珠畢業於台灣省立台北女子師範學校,取得教師資格後,曾任教於台中南屯國小及台北南門國小。1974年隨夫婿張添缽全家移民至美國科羅拉多州柯林斯堡。1981年舉家再度遷移至德克薩斯州休斯頓,往後一直定居於此。
張賴美珠女士與張添缽先生結婚後,夫妻二人鶼鰈情深,共組美滿家庭育有三男一女,非常重視孩子的學識及品格教育,今孩子都長大成人,各組家庭,每位孩子均都有很好的成就。
張賴美珠是一位溫文儒雅的女士,任教期間是一位優良教師,對于家庭是一位負責的妻子、慈愛的母親,對外她有很好的人緣,獲得親朋好友的喜愛與支持,她是親朋好友最強而有力的基石。
張賴美珠女士在世一切美好的回憶,將留在家人、親人、朋友的心中。
張賴美珠女士的追悼會將於 2024 年 8 月 31 日星期六上午 10 點至下午 2 點在德克薩斯州休斯頓教堂的Garden Oaks Funeral Home 舉行
