Julia Diane Evans, age 65 of Magnolia, Texas passed away in her home on June 20, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Diane was a loving Mother, Mimi and friend. She never met a stranger and she could brighten any room with her contagious smile and wittiness. She had a radiant soul who saw beauty in everyone she met.
Diane devoted 42 years to Klein ISD Food Service, where she gained many friends that she loved as family.
Diane’s life was a symphony of humor, laughter, kindness and love.
She is survived by her son Anthony Wayne Turner Jr., daughter Tasha Reane Schumann, step-son Bobby Evans and step-daughter Sherri Evans; grandson Devyn Turner, granddaughters Hailee Turner, Macey Grace Schumann, Abigail Faith Schumann and April Ryan Schumann.
Diane is preceded in death by her husband Billy Alton Evans, mother Angie Lee Hicks and father Doulas Glen Hicks.
Though she may be gone from our site, Diane will remain forever in our hearts- remembered for her laughter and unwavering love she had for each of us.
Serving as pallbearers are, Anthony Turner, Ashley Schumann, Devyn Turner, Jamal Hazzan, John Ceballos, Michael Fonseca.
All are invited to her celebration of life being held at Diane’s home following services.
