Julia Margarita Marquez

Julia Margarita Marquez, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas. She was born in Cuba on January 9, 1931 to Eduardo Masson Rios and Margarita Hernandez Rios. She is preceded in death by her husband, Secundino Rosario Marquez, brother, Julio Masson, sister, Lidubina Masson and by a granddaughter Lazara Lissette Marquez.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Alberto) Dorta, sons, David (Rita) Marquez, Lazaro (Zaida) Marquez, Sisters, Maggie Masson and Emerita Dancaussee and brothers, Luis Masson, Pedro Pablo Masson, and Ramon Masson. She is also survived by her grandchildrem, Lisbet Newton, Cristina Young, Aimee Marquez, Jessica Marquez, Ivette Marquez and her great grandchildren, Daniel Newton, Corbin Young, James Newton and Lilliana Newton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, Texas 77081 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary to be recited at 6:30 P.M. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Advantage Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 A.M. with Deacon Juan De Dios Perez officiating the funeral service. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery,
