I met Juliann at Occidental Systems back in the early 80's. She was beautiful, smart,  extremely engaging, and an absolute pleasure to be around.  Her laugh is what I remember the most. She would light up the data center with it! So glad she found someone to live, love, and laugh with again. She deserved only the best.

I first met Juliann at OXY in 1979, shortly after leaving the Navy. A friend of mine worked in HR and helped me get started there. Juliann, along with Elmo and Bob Martinez, were the first people I met.

What I remember most about Juliann was her kindness — she made a lasting impression on me from the very beginning. I also had the pleasure of meeting Colleen and Holly during that time.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Juliann’s passing five years ago, but there is comfort in knowing that she and Elmo are together again.

I met Juliann in 1992 when I joined American General.  What a kick!  We became fast friends and were lunch pals for years...and then she retired!   She had such a wonderful family and loved each and every one - and we all talked about our families!!  Elmo was a riot and she always laughed when discussing his latest mischief.  She loved her girls (!!) and her grandchildren, and we heard about each one as they came along through childhood.  We stayed lunch pals, getting together with Becky, too, for our birthdays three times a year.   Our last gathering was in 2013,  prior to my move out of state, but we kept in touch through email and texting, including January of this year.  

I loved going through the memorial pictures, and found some when she had "that look," you know, when she was half smiling and just about to burst out with another sarcastic, humorous remark.  She was a treasure!!

Aunt Juliann had such a zest for life, and I especially appreciated her sense of humor and candor.  She could always call out things when others would not.

Thank you for putting together such a beautiful tribute and ceremony.

The first time I met Juliann, I was hanging out with Colleen and her mom dropped by. Several hours later my sides were splitting from laughter. Juliann was always welcoming, making me feel like a family member and of course more rounds of laughter! When I moved back home to California, several months later we had horrific fires that were several miles away from us. I received a call from Juliann, wanting to make sure that my family and I were ok.  For me that is how I will always remember this powerhouse of a woman, who would make me laugh and was so generous in her kindness, actions, thoughts and deeds.  I'm sure she and Elmo are enjoying being together again!

Juliann and my father made a great team and they loved spending time together.  It's comforting to know that team is once again back together and enjoying each other as they always did.  I love you Juliann.  You are the best step-mom and I will miss the long talks on the back porch.  Tell Dad I said Hi!

My sympathies go out to the family! Juliann and I worked together at OXY from 1977 to 1985. She was a coworker but more than that she was a treasured friend. I will always remember her beautiful smile and her whimsical and reflective look when someone made a comment that was not quite right.

We lived across the street from Elmo and Julianne in Livingston, Tx.  Great memories of times gone by sitting by the fire in the woods discussing everything we had in common.  The fourth if July parade was a month long event planning designing and decorating loved every minute of it with this family!

I will end this with - I will never be able to say the words La -Ti-Da without thinking of Julianne. Will always miss you!  Rest In Peace !

I have known Juliann since she was 16 and I was 17. Juliann was a wonderful sister-in-law, an unbelievable mother and the best grandmother I have ever known. 
She always included Phil and me for all the holidays.  When Phil died she continued to include me in every event.   We had so much fun with all the kids.  I will never forget those special times. 
May she be with Elmo through eternity.
