

Junius John Durisseau, age 79, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. He was born in Calcasiew Parish, Lake Charles, Louisiana, on March 7, 1944, to father, Paul Durisseau and mother, Bertha Ledet-Durisseau.
John Graduated received a GED and and received several certificates of commendation with Brotman Medical Center in California. He later relocated back to Houston and continued his career in HVAC Services at Parkway Hospital and the Kingwood Hospital for over 34 Years. He then went on to retire.
He was a member and leader for the Houston Branch of the Ambassadors for Jesus Christ Motorcycle Ministry USA. By “Ambassadors of Christ” Paul meant that we as Christians should see ourselves as representatives of God and we are to behave accordingly. We have an important job to do: showcase Christ and deliver his message so others can know him too.
John had a passion for motorcycle riding, traveling, trail riding, and family outings with his children, family, and grandchildren, creating in his crafts and ministering to all.
He is preceded in death by mother, Bertha Ledet-Durisseau; father, Paul Durisseau; brothers, Larry Durisseau, and JD Durisseau; sisters, Laura Chretien and brother-in-law, Wilbert Chretien, Rose Randolf, Lois Guillery, and Terri Durisseau.
He is survived by wife, Linda Hedges; sons, Darwin Durisseau, Chris Meshack and Kenyatta Meshack; daughter, Tina Durisseau-Coleman and son-in-law, Gerald Coleman; sister, Kitty Durisseau; brother, Jay Durisseau; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
Serving as pallbearers are, Gerald Coleman, Dwayne Douglas, Darwin Durisseau, Chris Meshack, Keyatta Meshack, James Bishop and Demareus Richards.

A visitation for John will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
