I met Justin back in 2016 when we started our door to door sales job at Renewal By Anderson. From the moment we first started talking, I new him and I would be brothers for life. Everyday since I was with him, whether we were chilling, traveling the world together, partying, etc. Justin was the best friend that can never be replaced. I really appreciate all the beautiful memories he brought to my life and I love him dearly. Justin I can’t wait to see you again. Love you brother

Justin and I met when he came to bfa but our friendship really grew when we became close at plasp. There was nothing that drove me crazier than Justin and Denzel picking on me. But you know what the best part was? Knowing everyday that both of them were coming to spend time with me because even when the picking stopped, the laughs continued. There isn’t a single memory that I have where I didn’t laugh with you Jay. I’m thinking of you always. Rest easy ❤️

I extend my condolences to Justin's family and friends at this sad time. I had the privilege of teaching Justin at UHD. He contributed a lot to the class and to his project team members with his insights and determination. I remember allowing him a second chance on a missed assignment. He did it with flying colors and said he would keep his commitments for the rest of the semester. He kept his promise. His positive outlook was an inspiration. The world lost a good young man.

Sleep Easy until we meet in heaven

My condolence to the family. I never got to meet you in person but that dont matter, family love is always 100%

here is a littly poem from me!

Don’t cry for me today

Don’t cry for me today, I wouldn’t want it this way.
Be strong and smile, for you will see me in a while.
I know you miss me, but now in Heaven I will be.
Do not keep your sad face; I am in a much better place.
Do not let your tears fall, because I cannot wipe them all.
Yes, my life wasn’t long. But I’m asking you to be strong.
Live every moment as if it were your last, I wouldn’t forget any memories that you have passed. Cherish life and love as I watch you from above.

As I remember all the good things, I know I will receive my wings. It’s time for me to go and fly, as your guardian angel I will try.
Don’t cry for me today, I am on my way. Soaring through the sky, I will watch all of you telling me goodbye.

Don’t cry for me today; be happy I have gone away. Keep me in your pray, because I will see you one day. My Heavenly father is waiting for me; I have to go now this is my destiny. Please don’t stay awake; this is a journey only I can take.
I will see you one day so don’t cry for me today.

My first memory of Justin is years ago in Barbados. I had a green bicycle that I’d ride up and down my neighborhood. I put the bicycle down for one second and Justin took it and refused to give it back. I got so frustrated and told him something along the lines of “Give me back my bicycle, I’m older than you!” He refused while saying “You’re only older than me by a couple months!” Well, he didn’t lie but I still wanted a chance to ride my bicycle. Safe to say that first encounter left a weird taste in my mouth.
Fast forward to summer of 2017. Justin came to New Jersey for our cousin, Kristina’s wedding. We instantly connected. We vibed all night from drinking (I teased him because he’d just turn 21 and the bartender was giving him a hard time so I had to get drinks for him) to dancing. We exchanged numbers and social media, and we talked almost every week since then.
Jus was smart, funny, ambitious, respectful, always happy, and had a contagious spirit. You were young and full of love and energy but it lessens the pain to know that you died doing something you loved. Heaven has gained another angel and I know that you will look over and protect us. I’ll always remember you my nephew, hope you’re good wherever you are❤️

While I didn't know Justin very well, the times I was able to talk to him were amazing and I cherish those moments. He taught me a lot and I consider him a friend. My condolences to his friends and family in this heartbreaking time. 💕
