So sorry to hear of Kaaran's passing .My heart goes out to you.She was the great family historian,she will be greatly missed.

Dear Dale and Jennifer,
   Having just returned from being out of town, I was greatly shocked of hear of Kaaran's passing. If I had known, I would have made arrangements to be with you. Kaaran was was very dedicated teacher...not only of Spanish but of art. For my first child's birth (Marissa) she painted me a beautiful clown oil to hang in the nursery. I treasure that painting to this day~ Thoughtful, kind, witty, innovative, etc. are just a few of the words in describing this friend. May God surround you and uplift you with peace during this time of sadness and reflection. On a lighter side....I can just see Kaaran and her dear friend Ruth Vegas as they greet each other in their eternal home. Laughter will resound between those two wonderful ladies. God Bless YOu !

Dear Dale, Jennifer, and Family,  I received word of Kaaran's passing late yesterday.  Kaaran was one of the brightest and kindest person/teacher that I taught with for many year.  Last June, she and Jennifer were able to attend a BHI Retired Teachers' Luncheon and I was blessed to sit next to her.  We had a wonderful conversation.  We also visited for awhile at her dear friend's (Ruth) funeral.  She touched so many lives in such a positive way.  Kaaran was an outstanding Spanish/French teacher.  She will be missed. We have been so blessed to have met on the pathway of life...and will meet again someday.

Dear Dale, Jennifer, and Family....I received word about Kaaran from a former co-worker from B.H.I.   I want to extend my condolences to you and your family.  It is very difficult for me to express how dearly she was loved by so many who knew her and had the joy of working with this wonderful woman.   Kaaran was a kind, considerate, and very loving co-worker that I was blessed to call a friend.   God bless and praying these words will help you as they have helped me this past year.....When days start without me, know we are never apart, for every time you think of me, I'm am always there right inside your heart.

The picture in the video with all the teachers on the porch of a house is my house in Cape Royale.  I moved up to Coldspring after teaching at Beverly Hills Intermediate and these wonderful ladies came to visit that summer. That's the kind of person Kaaran was - giving and caring for others.
She will be missed.

I just learned of Kaaran's passing a few minutes ago and was so saddened by the news. Had I known in time I would have notified all of Kaaran's many friends from BHI and we would have been in attendance at her visitation and funeral. She was a brilliant, kind and gracious woman and a friend to all. Aside from being an outstanding teacher she was a joy to her students and fellow staff members.  I know you will miss her greatly.

Dear Jennifer, Dale, and Loved Ones of Kaaran....It is with deep regret and heartfelt sympathies that I send you this note of love and hugs as you are right now traveling through a very difficult time in your lives.  I cannot imagine the hurt and immense heartache you all must be enduring now.  Kaaran was ...in a word...amazing.  She was more talented than there are words to describe.  The things she could create and do with those two little hands of hers were so incredible.  I was privileged to teach directly across the hall from her for many years.  We spent many precious hours together...I miss you already, Kaaran.  Thank you for making this world a better place with your smile, your love, and your very kind heart.  I will remember you fondly and all of the treasured times we spent together.  May God embrace you, Jennifer and Dale and fill your hearts with His very special peace that passes all understanding.
