Kalisha was my first best friend.  I have wonderful memories of her laugh and her smile.  When I think of my first years in school and my time in drill team, I think of her.  She brightened so many lives--I was blessed to know her.

Evora!!!  I just now heard about Kalisha's passing.  We are just stunned and so saddened!  I have some adorable pictures of Kalisha and Kasey walking arm and arm at Oak Creek.  They were dearest of friends.  Please know that that little stature of hers embodied the biggest heart that  overflowed with love, compassion and genuine friendship to so many.  We consider ourselves so fortunate and blessed to have known her and enjoyed so many good times with her.  May God comfort you all, as your heart is torn open and your lives so disjointed.  May God bless you all with peace that passes all understanding.  I look so forward to seeing her again in Heaven where her body will be whole and healthy.  I loved that young woman so much. Many years ago I watched her and my children run; jump; and play, life was a ball of fun.  Small in stature, big beautiful eyes, a million dollar smile, and quiet in her own way, she would make you smile from ear to ear. I know she brought joy and filled you with wonder as you marveled at Kalisha the miracle.  I'm smiling, that's what she made you do, but I'm saddened because she is no longer with you.  My friend I vigorously search the corridors of my mind in a heartfelt attempt to impart words of comfort to you and your family and all I can come up with is; Kalisha, the beautiful, the fighter, the wonder, the miracle, the daughter, the sister, the friend, the girl who became a woman and sprinkled joy and love to all who encountered her.  I love you all so much...
