My prayers go out to you and your families, my loving Aunt Loretta and dear cousins Connie and Kenny. Know that you have a true guardian angel watching out for you now. I will always honor and remember him, he was fair man and like things done the right way and just when I thought I was picky about my work, he showed me things that I didnt see while working on his and lorettas house but I welcomed it.

Most people will never understand the true meaning of this wonderful quote. Ask someone what they think power is and 9 times out 10 they will say money. My answer is love. We have the power to influence. Influence to love or to hate. We have the power to make someone laugh or to cry. Most dont realize the impact we have on each other. Those who do understand make sure to influence good. That persuasion of good will be passed on from generation to generation, ultimately becoming a legacy. Karl Kirkpatricks influence will be legendary. The man who never judged. Who believed that everybody deserves the benefit of the doubt. He taught that belief to his son and daughter, who passed it along their children. I feel in love with his granddaughter, Laura, because she believed that i deserved a chance. I guess what I'm trying to say is THANK YOU! I will never forget you. never forget our camping trips (first time I've camped was with you and grandma). In my eyes, you are the most powerful man in the world!

Dad words cannot express how much I will miss you.  All the fun years of camping, hunting and just hanging out, are truly going to be missed.  You taught all of us the meaning of Family, responsibility and (of course) organization. I LOVE YOU and will always cherish every moment we all spent together.

Loretta, Kenneth & Connie, we were so sad to hear about Karl. It seems like just yesterday that we were going through so much to save our neighborhood and then coping with Allison. Don't know how we would have made it without such wonderful neighbors. We've always said that the only thing we lost from that flood that we truly, truly miss are our wonderful neighbors! Karl was always there for us, he was always so friendly and so generous. He will be terribly missed and we're so glad all of you came into our lives.

paw paw, I am going to miss you SO much, and i know you know that because you're looking down on us as i type this...and like Ericka said, youre probably up there giving all those angels a hard time, and telling them to pick up after them selves!! :) i love you forever, and will always miss you.

Loretta,  we are so deeply saddened at Karl's passing.  He will be greatly missed, but will remain in our hearts.  It is our hope that you will find consolation in the knowledge that we, like so many others, are praying for you and your family.

My sincere condolences.  I did not know Karl but I have worked with his son for over 16 years.  Knowing his son, I know he is a good man and will be sadly missed.

Our sympathy and our prayers to you and your family, Loretta as you go through this difficult time  in your life.  You and Karl had many beautiful years together thus many beautiful memories.  Treasure the good times you had with such a nice, wonderful, kind man like Karl.  May HE rest in peace...no more suffering.

The memories I have will last a life time. Loretta and Karl treated my family like their own. Camping, playing tennis,  attending Ericka and Laura's school games. Karl was a great husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, and friend. Never judgemental,  and "always" had the right advise. How blessed we are to have had you in our lives. God bless you Lorreta how lucky you are to have such a great "ANGEL" to look over you!!!

I know that Karl is in a place that he can be happy knowing as each day that passes he will meet all that have gone before him so he will have friends with him. Not to forget that the most important one is God.

Lulu, you & Karl have always been so important to our family.  I am so thankful Barbara  met Kenneth & brought the two of you into our lives. Our children, Johnathan & Matthew, grew up calling you Lulu as they couldn't say Loretta. There is at least 25 years of long lasting loving memories.  My heart is heavy & sadden for your loss of Karl.  Please hold dear to your heart all of your memories together & know that he is now with our lord Jesus Christ & watching over you from above.
