Born on August 23, 1976, in El Salvador, Karolyna Medina was the beloved daughter of Delia Alvarado De Melgar and Jose Melgar.
Karolyna was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a woman whose life was deeply rooted in her faith in Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation of everything she did—it shaped her strong marriage, guided her in raising a loving family, and inspired her to help others with compassion and grace.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Modesto Medina; her children, Damien Nguyen, Phoenix Nguyen, Joanne Medina, and Kayleh Medina; her parents, Delia Alvarado De Melgar and Jose Melgar; her brother, Roberto Melgar; and her sister, Karina Melgar.
Karolyna will be remembered as a loving, strong woman and a true beacon of light to all who knew her. She was a warrior in every sense - unforgettable, resilient, and full of life. A true fashionista, Karolyna carried herself with confidence and grace. The moment she entered a room; her presence was felt. Her caring heart, radiant spirit, and kindness touched everyone around her.
Though she will be deeply missed, Karolyna’s love, faith, and strength will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
