Kathaleen Marie Rodriguez

She graduated from Sam Houston High School and last worked for Harris County Child Protective Services.

She is survived by her parents Esteban Rodriguez and Sarah Medrano Rodriguez, her siblings Patricia, Steven, Laura, brother – in law Jason, nephews Jason, Kasey, Jaden, John and grandma Vicenta Medrano. Along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Kathy was also a dog mom to Frijol, whom she loved very much, he will live out his life with Steven.

Kathy loved the color purple, Houston sports teams, WWE wrestling, listening to all types of music, singing, dancing, reading, diamonds, traveling, dressing up, and debating.

She faced many medical illnesses but always remained positive. Every time she had a rough day she would say tomorrow will be a better one.

Kathy passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025 at the age of 49 surrounded by loved ones after a long illness gaining her angel wings.

A visitation for Kathaleen will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022, followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Patrick Catholic Church, 4918 Cochran St, Houston, TX 77009. A burial will occur Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N Main St, Houston, TX 77009.
