She impacted all that knew her in so many ways.
Katherine had a smile that lit up a room and the most infectious laugh. A great sense of humor and powerful inner strength.
From the moment Katherine was born, it was clear she would be one very unique and strong individual.
As a child, Katherine was never going to be pushed into something she didn't want to do. Peer pressure was never
something we ever worried that Katherine would be influenced by. Her strength was clear even as a child.
She loved what she loved with great joy, and first and foremost her family and friends.
She played with Barbie Dolls and toys with her friends, but also enjoyed doing more physical activities and being outside.
During her school years, Katherine was a discus and shot put thrower. She also played soccer for several years.
She enjoyed being part of a team.
She was creative and artistic, which resulted in her becoming a graphic designer. Her passion, patience, and determination
throughout her college years was impressive. She had drive and she would not let anything hold her back. Her perseverance was exhausting to watch.
In her work experiences, she was dedicated, enjoyed challenges, and was always willing to help wherever needed.
She was very passionate about all she loved and cared about with her family and friends on top of that list. She had many interests, that she was
enthusiastic about. Ever since very young she was a huge "I Love Lucy" Fan. There were many conversations and 'rants' about movies, comics, TV shows, art, video games, music, books and much more, that so many
of us shared with her.
Katherine struggled with terribly painful, and daily migraines, throughout many of her years. She never let those knock her down. She
continued to be strong and fight, working towards a less painful time.
Her family was very important to her. Her friends were forever.
Katherine was true and thoughtful, and would do anything for the people she loved. She was always there whenever she was needed. She was
so often the voice of reason. A calming presence when needed. Support when needed. At the same time, she was her own person, and nothing would
change that.
What better way to honor a life than with some of the words shared from so many who knew and loved her.
She is described as a loyal, non-judgemental, go-to friend. Supportive friend, fun to be around. Katherine could pull off
a great joke, and then laugh so infectiously with everyone. She was great to talk to. Charming. Talented. Willing to help and be there. Great to talk to. Strong. Confident. Sense of humor, and funny story teller.
Compassionate. Driven. She was always there for you, and had a heart that touched all who knew her. Passionate. Someone to "geek" out with. Wonderful smile. Always positive. Larger than life in many ways.
She had an infectious laugh. Unique and special. She will leave a lasting impression.
