Katherine, it has been an honor and privilege to be your friend and prayer partner. We often talked about how we are not responsible for our beginning date and our end date, but the dash in between.  Well, you have represented your dash  with grace, courage, and Integrity.  The day you went to sleep on this side and woke up in Heaven, I was heartbroken, but I could see you smiling, happy, and praising God!  At this point I couldn't be sad anymore.  Yes, I will miss talking with you and that saddens me, but this is when I see that image of you at peace with no more worries. Rest on my sister in Christ. Well done, thou good and faithful servant.

Tamira and Kadisja, I could not make it to the final celebration for Katherine, but I will continue to lift you, the grandkids, and the rest of your family up in prayer.  Just take it one day at a time, and if that is too hard, than take it a minute at a time.  God will give you the strength you need, just lean on Him.
