Katherine (Casey) McClure

Casey was born and raised in Pearsall Texas. She graduated from high school in 1961 as Valedictorian. Casey went on to earn her BA in Microbiology from University of Texas in 1964, attended Methodist Hospital School of Medical Technology in Houston from 1964-1965, and obtained her second Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from the University of Texas in 1965. Casey held professional affiliations with MT(ASCP) in 1966 and MT(ASCP)SC in 1990. Casey worked at Methodist Hospital, Baylor School of Medicine, Texas Research Institute of Mental Sciences, MD Anderson Hospital in 1979 and finally retired from MD Anderson in 2010 as Supervisor of Special Chemistry Laboratory. Casey married RH (Mac) McClure on November 15, 1969.

Casey is pre-deceased by: Brother Mark Nelson Magee, Parents DN and Corinne Magee, Step Father RE Higdon, Step Daughter Jeannie McClure Davis, and Husband Mac McClure.

Casey is survived by: Sister Donna Magee Winter and Husband Rick, Step Son Rocky McClure, Son in Law Sam Davis, Grandson Brock McClure and wife Melissa, Granddaughters Lauren Davis Gilbert, Hannah Davis, Kelsey Davis, and Catherine McClure. Stepgranddaughters Rosslyn Davis Syler, and Jenna Davis. Stepgrandson Jonathan Krischke. Niece Corinne Winter Voris, and Nephew Mark Winter.
