She was born on December 18, 1952, in Long Beach, California, to Monico and Sally Perez. Kathy graduated from Polly High School, where she began forming lifelong friendships and laying the foundation for the life of love and dedication she would go on to lead.
Kathy met her future husband, Daniel Stoltz, in elementary school, and their friendship blossomed into a love story that was truly written in the stars. The two were married on April 27, 1973, and together built a life rooted in deep love, commitment, and faith in each other.
As Daniel’s career led their family to move across the country, Kathy was the unwavering foundation that kept the family grounded. No matter where they lived, she made each house a home, providing stability, warmth, and love through every transition. Her resilience and strength held the family together during the many moves and changes life brought their way.
Kathy worked for many years as a PIEMS coordinator for Huntsville ISD, where her attention to detail and dedication made her a valued part of the team. Upon retiring, she embraced her most cherished roles as a full-time grandmother and devoted wife. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she poured boundless love, wisdom, and patience into each of them. She was their biggest cheerleader, most trusted confidante, and a constant source of encouragement and support.
Kathy had an endless capacity for love and always made others feel seen, heard, and cared for. Her kindness, quiet strength, and devotion to her family left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the heart of her family and will be missed more than words can express.
