

Katherine Anthony (Toni) Trumbull was born in Mobile, Alabama on November 10, 1943. She passed away on January 10, 2016 in Houston, Texas. She was the tax assessor/collector for Spring ISD for 31 years. She held CTA, RPA, CSTA, and RTA designation as well as holding every Gulf Coast Chapter and State office in the TAAO. After retiring from Spring ISD she was elected to the Harris County Appraisal District Board of Directors where she served 4 consecutive terms. Toni also worked for the Perdue, Brando, Fielder, Collins & Mott law firm as a Course Instructor and Client Liaison. She was always available to lend her expertise to anyone asking for assistance.
Toni loved to watch football and was very knowledgeable about the game. Her favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans, a Texan all the way. She loved a good Merlot and Toni loved to dance and spend time with her friends and grandchildren. She enjoyed penny ante poker and would often say “Debra Lynn it’s only a quarter”. Toni could often be found in a heated game of 42. Toni loved to travel with her soul mate, Jack. And let’s not forget the SHOPPING!!
Toni was preceded in death by her daughter, Jamie Dawn Arancelovic, mother, Margaret Mostransky, father Anthony Mostransky, brothers Carl Frank Van Houten Jr., Richard Edward Van Houten, sister Mary Van Houten York and brother in-law Norman Trumbull.
She is survived by her husband Jack Trumbull, sister Margaret Van Houten Winkler, sons, Mat Trumbull, Todd Vasek, daughter Jolene Badgwell, son in-law Richard Arancelovic and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She loved all and was loved by all. Dance with the Angels my love.
