Kathleen Ann Gurrola, 56, affectionately known as "Dolly" passed away on September 7, 2012. She was a Sr. Police Officer who served with the Houston Police Department for 37 years and was last assigned to the Vice Division. Her memories will forever be cherished by her husband of 38 years and 13 days, Martin Gurrola; daughters: Shannon Reyes & husband Constantino, Monica Gurrola Barron & fiance' Orlando Andrade Cruz; son, Martin J. Gurrola & wife Ashley; mother, Guadalupe O. Galindo; brothers: Joe Ytuarte & wife Karen, Mark Galindo & wife Shaniel; sisters: Cynthia Galindo Hernandez & husband Anthony, Lucille Jones & husband George; 13 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends & co-workers. Visitation will be from 5-8PM on Tuesday, September 11th at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, September 12th at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2131 Lauder Rd., Houston, TX 77039. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
