Kathryn was born on the 9th of February 1926, in New York, NY, where she grew up until she graduated from Adelphi University and moved to Colorado, where she met and lived with her late husband Paul Francis Binney. Her life also took her to California, Arizona, and Texas.
Kathryn is survived by three children and their spouses/significant other, Debra Kay Davis and Jim Davis of Tucson, Keith Hamilton Binney and Tuesdie Schaffer of Seattle, and Gary Scott Binney and Susan Diane Binney of Houston. She also is survived by seven grandchildren, Scott Binney, Kendra Binney, Kellie Binney, Tracy Liston, Mindy Davis, Mark Binney, and Braden Bush. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Aiden Liston and Owen Liston.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Houston SPCA, 900 Portway Dr., Houston, TX, 77024.
A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
