Joyce was born October 7, 1924 on the Harrelson family farm in Salt River Township, Missouri. After receiving a full four year scholarship to Washington University, St. Louis, she graduated with honors. She was an active member in her sorority, the Delta Gammas.
Joyce is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Leroy Edward Fisher.
She is survived by her brother, John D. Harrelson and wife Delores; her daughters, Joy Togesen and husband Harry, and Kitty Anderson and husband Jody; grandsons Devin Kinsella and wife Shablis, and Don Peterson IV; great grandson Donavan Peterson V.
The family of Mrs. Fisher wish to extend their thanks to Hilda Eagleton and the wonderful staff of Quality Living, Missouri City, for the loving support and care they provided them and their mother. In respect to the request of Joyce Fisher, no memorial service will be held.
