

It is with heavy hearts but warm memories that we celebrate the life of Kelsey Amanda Magnuson, who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 33. Kelsey was a shining example of strength, resilience, and grace, facing every challenge with determination and an unyielding spirit.
Born on August 2, 1991, in Houston, TX, Kelsey was a decorated member of the Bailadora drill team at Langham Creek High School. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 2016, where she was a proud member of Kappa Delta, and went on to receive her master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Houston in 2018. Her passion for helping others was evident in her career, and she touched many lives with her kindness and expertise.
Kelsey had a deep love for life and the people around her. She reveled in exploring new places and life's adventures. Kelsey had a gift for bringing people together, creating lifelong bonds at every stage of her life. Above all, Kelsey was the light in every room she entered. Her infectious smile, joyful spirit, and genuine kindness made her beloved by nearly everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will forever be cherished.
Kelsey leaves behind her devoted husband, Devin Magnuson, and her beloved son, Hank Magnuson, who were the center of her world. She also leaves behind her parents, Richard and Janell Molloy; her grandmother, Judith Aller; her siblings, Shayna Hawkins, Elaine Curtis, Lisa Willcox, and Richard Molloy II; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and countless friends who were like family to her.
Though she has left this world far too soon, her light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched. Kelsey’s legacy is one of love, courage, and the unbreakable bonds of family and friendship.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Kelsey’s memory by spreading kindness and joy to those around you, just as she did every day of her life.
