

Ken is an Army Veteran. He started a career in Construction after his time in the military. For a period of time, he worked on Set Construction for several movies. He moved to Texas and began to work on building houses and buildings. He did small repairs, construction and decks on the side. He spent many hours in his shop building furniture and hand tooling leather goods. After he left Construction, he and his wife opened and ran an award-winning Assisted Living Home for Women in Tomball. They sold the business when they retired.
Before his long illness, Ken was an extremely active member of the Tomball Shriners. He loved driving the tiny cars in the parades, and worked at the Shrine Circus for many years. Ken and his wife were very active in a Bowling League and traveled to many tournaments. When Ken was no longer able to participate in these activities, he developed a love for the Stock Market.
Ken was married to the Love of His Life, Josephine (Joey) Duncan for 49 years. They shared a love of travel and would often be gone for weeks at a time.
Ken is survived by his loving wife Joey: son Michael Duncan (Cheryl) of Katy, daughter Lisa Duncan (Kenny) of Houston; daughter Kathy Hagan (Robbie) of Yoakum, and son Mike DeSmet (Lisa) of Englewood, Co; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in Death by: parents, brother Gary Duncan.
