

Kenneth Figueroa Perez, 51, passed away on May 9, 2025, in Houston, TX, surrounded by love. Born on November 22,1973 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Kenny lived a life filled with humor, generosity, love of family, and kindness.
Kenny married the love of his life and beloved wife, Vanessa, in 1993 and had 2 beautiful children. He decided to seek better opportunities for his family and moved to Houston in 1996, becoming a pioneer for the Figueroa family to come to Texas to create memories.
Kenny was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, son, godfather, and friend. He was a truck driver known as El Boricua and made incredible friends throughout the 20+ years. His family will forever miss his orange truck that he cared for with pride. Kenny loved the Houston Astros, was a mega fan of the Houston Texans, and music. His best times were spent in the garage with family and his music. Kenny brought joy and meaning to those who had the privilege of knowing them.
Kenny is survived by his wife Vanessa, children Kenny Jr, Nicole and son-in-law Oili, and Jorge; siblings Frankie, Wanda and Alicia, father Panchito, many godchildren, Coco and many more family members who will cherish their memory forever.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday May 16, 2025, at Garden Oaks Funeral Home where friends and family can gather to honor and celebrate Kenny’s life.

Kenny se casó con el amor de su vida y amada esposa, Vanessa, en 1993 y tuvo 2 hermosos hijos. Decidió buscar mejores oportunidades para su familia y se mudó a Houston en 1996, convirtiéndose en un pionero para que la familia Figueroa viniera a Texas a crear memorias.
Kenny fue un devoto esposo, padre, hermano, tío, hijo, padrino y amigo. Era un camionero conocido como El Boricua e hizo amigos increíbles a lo largo de los 20+ años. Su familia siempre extrañará su camion anaranjado que cuidaba con orgullo. Le gustaba los Astros de Houston, era un gran fanático de los Texans de Houston y la música. Sus mejores momentos los pasaba en el garaje con su familia y su música. Kenny trajo alegría y significado a aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlos.
A Kenny le sobreviven su esposa Vanessa, sus hijos Kenny Jr., Nicole y su yerno Oili, y Jorge; sus hermanos Frankie, Wanda y Alicia, el padre Panchito, muchos ahijados, Coco y muchos más familiares que atesorarán su memoria por siempre.
