Kenneth F. Trammell

Kenneth F. Trammell, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 5, 2011. He was born on March 18, 1924 to Celia Isabell and James H. Trammell. He served in the US Army during WWII and was IATSE Local 51 Business Agent. Kenneth served as houseman for over 20 years for the Music Hall, Coliseum, Jones Hall and the City Auditorium. He also served in the City of Houston Building Inspection Division as an electrical inspector. He was a member of Baptist Temple Church. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia Key Trammell; son, Kenneth Trammell, Jr. and wife Roxie Lucas Trammell; daughter, Ginger Thomas and husband Charlie Thomas; grandchildren, Dustin Crider, Caleb Crider, Jordan Thomas, Ashley Thomas, Jamie Thomas and one great-grandchild, Carson Thomas Crider. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8pm Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Pat H. Foley & Company. A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held at 10am Thursday, September 8, 2011 in the Chapel of Pat H. Foley & Company. A graveside will be held at 12:30pm Monday, September 12, 2011 at Houston National Cemetery, 10401 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX, 77018.
