He is survived by his mother, Sarah Jo Corrie of Houston, Texas, and two brothers, Brian Corrie and wife Charlene , of Cypress, TX, and Miles Corrie of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
He graduated from Los Alamos High School, Los Alamos, New Mexico in 1974, and upon graduation joined the US Navy. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he attended The Northrop Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, California where he received his A&P Certification and Metropolitan State College of Denver where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in aviation management.Kent was a wonderful, generous son and brother who was always willing to help others.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 5th, 2013 at 11:00 am, at Brookside Funeral Home Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North at US 290, Houston, TX. The memorial service will be followed by a reception at the same location.
Inurnment will be held at Houston National Cemetery with Honors at a later date.
