A seeker of wisdom, a lover of learning, and a man who believed there was always more to discover beyond what the eye can see, he approached life with curiosity, wonder, and an open heart.
For more than 40 years, he proudly served as a police officer, dedicating his life to protecting and serving others. Known for his larger-than-life personality, he rarely met a stranger and had a gift for making an impression wherever he went.
An avid photographer, he was seldom seen without a camera in hand. Family and friends quickly learned that stepping within range of his lens often meant becoming the subject of one of his famous "blackmail photos," lovingly captured and shared for years of laughter.
He will be remembered for his sense of humor, and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched and the moments he preserved through his photographs. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
