Kim Lien Dao

Đào Thị Kim Liên was born on July, 7, 1949 in Vietnam. Her parents Huỳnh Đào and Thể Trần welcomed her with open hearts. Growing up with 11 siblings was an adventure. Đào Thị Mỹ (older sister), Đào Ngọc Luyện (older brother), Đào Ngọc Lược (departed), Đào Thị Nga (departed), Đào Ngọc Minh (younger brother), Đào Thị Thanh Hương (younger sister), Đào Ngọc Tâm (departed), Đào Ngọc Khuê (younger brother), Đào Ngọc Luân (younger brother), Đào Ngọc Thuờng (younger brother), Đào Ngọc Ân (younger brother), all choose whether to stay in Vietnam or move to the United States.

An avid traveler. Kim Lien had been on many pilgrimages in many parts of the continents, she visited luxurious tropical beaches, wine vineyards and even Disneyland. It was never about the destination but always the company. Each trip made special with the companionship of her families. Her late husband Doãn Văn Thạch, her children: elder daughter Doãn Đào Dao Chi & spouse Hank Vũ; young daughter Doãn Đao Quỳnh Chi & spouse Tony Tsao traveled with her often. It was a sweet blessing to meet her five grandchildren: Thomas Vũ, Henry Vũ, Jacob Tsao, Kayla Tsao, Luke Tsao.

She touched many hearts through her church, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Kim donated many hours into helping the community. In strong faith she walks with the Lord in Heaven.

The Funeral Vigil will Thursday September 26th, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6550 Fairbanks N. Houston Rd, Houston Tx, 77040 from 6- 8pm.

The following Friday September 27th, 2024, Is the Prayer Service at Brookside Cypress Creek, 9149 Hwy 6 North, Houston Tx 77095 from 4-9pm. The next day Saturday September 28th, 2024 is the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church from 9-10am Processing afterward for the Burial at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston Tx 77077.
