Kingsley Uwode

Kingsley Atiboko Uwode age 72 years from Jesse town in Ethiope West Local Area of Delta State, Nigeria. Passed away on March 23rd 2021 in Houston Texas.

Funeral Services were held at Garden Oaks Funeral home with a Minister officiating Pastor Gbenga Showunmi. Burial followed at Garden Oaks Funeral home.

Kingsley was born at Aladja to Mr. Stephen and Mrs. Alice Uwode on November 1st 1948. He went to Adelphi University in Garden City New York.

Late Mrs. Theresa Akporere is the mother of his daughter Mrs. Lulu Uwode-Aifuobhokhan and Alphea Myers-Uwode is the mother of his son’s Ufuoma Kingsley Uwode, Larocque Uwode, Late Ovie Uwode, and two Grandsons in the person of Late Okeoghene Jeffrey Emegbo and Kesiena Joseph Emegbo.

Kingsley Atiboko Uwode is survived and preceded by the following children; Daughter- Mrs. Lulu Uwode-Aifuobhokhan, Son-Mr. Larocque Uwode, Son- Ufuoma Kingsley Uwode and Son Late Ovie Uwode. Sister-Mrs. Mary-Agatha Ikezume, Sister- Late Mrs. Emily Obiebi, Brother- Late Mr. David Uwode, Brother- Mr. Valentine Uwode and Brother-Late Mr. Festus Uwode. Grandson-Late Okeoghene Jeffrey Emegbo and Grandson- Kesiena Joseph Emegbo. Others Son in-law Mr. Benjamin A Aifuobhokhan and many Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held in his honor in New York.
