Kirby was born in Regina Saskatchewan, and grew up travelling the world following in his father's footsteps in the Seismic industry, which lead him across Canada where his roots were originally set in Calgary Alberta, most notably with Fastway Exploration and Conquest Seismic. Kirby had finally settled here in Houston, Texas, and became an integral part of the Micro Seismic family.
Kirby will be remembered for his sense of humour, love for his family and friends, passion, hard work, and dedication in every aspect of life.
Kirby was a devoted and loving father to Shane, Shandalynn, Shawn, and Samuel, who already miss him dearly. The values that he instilled in them such as to go through life with dedication, hard work and loyalty while most importantly taking time to have fun along the way. Kirby’s love and passion for being a father will never be forgotten but is surely already deeply missed.
Kirby’s passions included, spending time on the golf course, enjoying the traditional Sunday Nascar race, relaxing in Canada during Christmas and the summer months with his family. He made sure everyone got a laugh, almost always at the expense of a dig along the way.
Kirby is preceded by his brother Kaelon, and survived by his father, Allan, sister Kimberly, brother Keegan, and his uncle Mike. His children Shane, Shandalynn (Chris) , Shawn (Terri), and Samuel. As well as his grandchildren Ayden, Autumn, Allianna, Abbey, Asa, and Lucas. Along with both his ex wives Darlene and Cody.
