She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hord Leaton and Edie Chatham Leaton; sister Lucille Leaton and brother Robert Edward Leaton; and husbands William Rowe Davidson, James Styron Ragsdale, Howard Bohner Noyes and Peter Francis Quinn.
Her life was like a complex novel with pages carefully crafted and were turned by another hand bringing both tragedies and pleasures. There was, however, a very happy ending to her story for she was given forty beautiful years with her husband Peter Quinn and his four daughters - Cathy, Beth, Mary and Patricia.
She leaves behind these four wonderful stepdaughters and their families, a number of dearly loved nieces and nephews and many priceless friends who enriched her life along the way.
The family will gather for a private interment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
In lieu of customary remembrances, Kitty requested that memorial contributions in her memory be directed to the Hermann Park Conservancy, 1700 Hermann Drive, Houston, Texas 77004.
