

Buddy was a third generation Houstonian and lived here all his life. He attended St. Thomas High School and the University of Houston. He owned and operated the L.M. Inkley Real Estate Co. for many years and spent much of his leisure time flying gliders and aircraft. He was a member of St. Johns Anglican Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvia and Luther, his nephew, Sherwood Scott, and his brother, Sherwood, with whom he shared his love of animals and aviation. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Suzanne; his nieces, Elise Reckling and Kim Richards and their children; his godson, Steven Miller; his dogs, Cocoa and Jet; and extended family and friends.
A memorial celebration of Buddy’s life is to be conducted at four o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 15th of June at the Inkley family residence.
Prior to the memorial service, the family will have gathered for a private interment at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston.
