LaNell K. Treadway

LaNell Kimmey Treadway, 86, passed away May 2, 2012 in Pasadena, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, August and Julia Kimmey; sisters: Lorena Coleman, Jewel Thompson, Juanita Warford, Eula V. Green, Elmarine Goode; brothers: August Mason Kimmey, Jr., Fredrick Garland Kimmey. LaNell married her loving husband, R.M. Treadway on April 2, 1946 in Houston, TX. She worked several years for the Telephone Co., Southmore Hospital, and Oshmans as a retail clerk and secretary. LaNell and R.M were blessed with two children: Mary Nell Westbrook and her husband Richard, Gary Michael Treadway; precious grandchildren: Gregory Westbrook, Jason Westbrook and wife Lisa, Joey Treadway, Larry Westbrook and wife Wendy; great grandchildren: Morgan Cheyenne Westbrook, Sean Tyler Westbrook, Dylan Anthony Westbrook; special nephew, Charles Hightower. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, Saturday, May 5th with Funeral Service following at 2:00pm in Brookside Funeral Home with Pastor John Redmond officiating. Pallbearers will be, Greg, Jason, Joey, Charles, Hank, Bubba and Larry. Honorary Pallbearers will be her great grandchildren: Sean and Dylan Westbrook. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
